First impression of Pview? Soap opera. From day one with the game (hell, the prima guide) it was clear Pview was the place for soap opera goodness.

I've played quite a few of the families there, but not the key characters in those families. In the Pleasant house, I was all about Daniel. The kids never did much for me. And I like getting the grandparents (the Oldies) back into that story, too. If memory serves, the grandfather is a horndog like Daniel, so that explains a LOT about Mary-Sue (who's the daughter of the Oldies, again, if memory serves).

When I was really playing Pview (years ago) townies played a huge role. Abjheet Depeisse was a champion man whore who had bedded down EVERY adult Broke (male and female) and numerous other folks. Don Lothario? Who's he. Abjheet was the MAN. And the one mail man (the dark skinned guy with the big face, I think his name was Sheldon) paired off with Brandi Broke (when she wasn't schleping Abjheet).

I stuck with a lot of the basic storylines but gave them my own twists. Like I really like Cassandra pairing off with Mr. Dreamer. I've always liked Cass and never really understood the Don connection. And I let Mort marry the gold digging Caliente sister and have at least one meal ticket kid. Usually Don went on to mediocre blandness, sometimes with a few "doorstep babies" and sometimes not. I also can't resist making John Burb a milquetoast, p-whipped sap. I think his wife was getting it on with Herb Oldie, Daniel, Abjheet AND Don, all while John longed for more children (and adopted a few, who his wife was disgusted by).

I let the families stay in their original houses unless they get buggy (that Pleasant house goes sour on me a lot). I also clone off some of the houses, so the neighborhood keeps its look. I use pre-made community (downtown and such) because I can't be bothered to make my own.

One thing I've always done is move in all the bin sims. It's easier to get them all moved in, lest they escape the bin and then you're controllables can't call them (hate that).
