All Premade Maxis sims from all three base game hood are here for download. (controllable sims only, for now). There's one zip files per household, containing one sim2pack per sims. These are cleaned clones and they do not contain any other information. Stats and details will be updated over time, along with the rest of the hoods.

Very cool idea.

I really like the "old relatives" part, since I'm a bit afraid of extracting maxis dead folks using simPE.

You wouldn't have much luck with most of the dead people in the basegame 'hoods anyway, their character files are almost all completely borkinated and can't be extracted. :/

Unless aledstange knows a way! I've recreated a few of them in CAS myself using the character image from SimPE as reference.

well, yeah i mean the old relatives that are extractable At least an PV are a few, as most of the families have the graves, and the files are available in simpe, but as i'm conscious that it could still be a bit risky i'm taking a while before uploading to check them first.

As for the the others, i'm thinking it could be a good idea maybe to make a 'recreated sims bank',i've done a few myself and i know i've seen more around. Could be interesting, specially for Strangetown, coz is there where most of the old files are totally missing.

The Goth family are all okay, as is - strangely - Skip Broke (the real one, that is, not the weird clone), if you remove the 'unlinked' flag. PV Bella Goth and Michael Bachelor are both missing their DNA files, and so is Darleen Dreamer, so they're not really useable. All the other dead people lack complete character data and can't be extracted.

Strangetown... well, some of those dead people in Olive's graveyard... oh dear. Several of them lack aspirations and personalities entirely, some don't have a set age, or are teenagers set as adults, or don't have DNA... terribly, terribly messed up.

Obvious question is obvious, but... I am wondering if they come as a "clean slate" (no memories or relationships), with select memories/relationships, or with the exact memories and relationships that they have when you start playing them in the 'hood? From what's posted I'm thinking they come with a "clean slate" but it's always good to ask.

yes, all the files where extracted with simpe but then cloned in bodyshop, so the ending file is simply a simp2pack of the sims itself without all the background/linked data.

All the detailed info on each sim (like personality and such) will be added to the page as soon as possible. :)

Thanks for the quick answer! I thought as much, but as I said, it's always good to ask. No worries on getting the added info up. I'm just happy that I now have a way to snag Don Lothario and dump him in my Strangtown. I adore him and love playing him. Him and Lazlo in one 'hood = massive Sims love!

Whoa! Are you kidding? This is AWESOME! This is just what I was looking for! Not only because I'm often too lazy to clone these sims everytime I want to re-start my neighborhood, but also because I needed models for my posters.

Especially the townies, which I think (unless I misunderstood your post) will also be uploaded here. Thank you so much!

and yes, the townies will be added as well, at least the most known, but if you ever need any one in particular just ask, we'll get it for you.

we'll be announcing farther updates on the page when done (i just didn't want to wait too long before start posting it :P )

This is great! It will definitely be the place I send people to if anyone asks for copies of Pleasantview sims, plus the other hoods in the future.

The only other place you can get these sims is the Sims Estates site and they stupidly didn't upload clean version, just packaged them "as is" so they come with memories, etc, and will just kill a hood if placed in the game.

I know I'm not on staff or anything like that but I'd like to volunteer my services for sim extraction and packaging if you want any help. I've already extracted and written down the personalities + aspirations for the first generation Riverblossom Hills hood sims, so those are available to anyone who wants them. I also know where to find the first generation PV sims that have already been extracted and "fixed". So - crash test dummy reporting for duty, just PM me if you'd like the help :)

As for the older sims, we'll see what can we fix, or not, but i wouldn't like to use someone's else work for upload. In any case, it could be good to know to add a resource.

and remember, though, the d/l page in particular is for members only, so anyone needing a file would have to join ;)
