Zomg word 2007
I’m posting this from word 2007. Thats right. The word processor. Wow. It does WordPress and LiveJournal aswell as all the Microsoft sites/intranet applications. No MySpace/Xanga!!!!
Quick review: The “ribbons” (replace toolbars and menus) are totally confusing for the first half hour, but get considerably cooler when you use Powerpoint and its templates/graphical effects (glow, reflection, opacity).
Bonus marks for making sure Endnote still works. And even if it didn’t - word 2007 has an auto magical bibliography creator although it doesn’t even have Harvard Harvard let alone UniversityOfTechnologySydney/Australia/Narrabundah Harvard.
And it has an automatically updating word count!!!!
