poor kitty part II

So I talked to my dad tonight (since he was the one who actually took Jinx in). Apparently he has small corneal ulcers (isn't that horrible sounding?? ulcers on your friggin eye *shudder*) and a cataract in his right eye. But the vet seemed to indicate she'd seen a lot worse. So kitty has two sets of eyedrops and some sort of antiviral paste that gets put on his food. He's in good hands and should probably be fine.

This is why I could never have children. Worrying about a cat is enough for me.
