It's funny - since Halloween is in the middle of the week (meaning not as much can be done), now that Saturday's over I feel like Halloween is pretty much over as well.
My Halloween festivities were very, very low key this year (that's what comes from not planning anything ahead of time). Kerry, Nick, and I walked to IV and met Brendan, and then we just walked up and down DP, looking at all the people in their costumes while trying to avoid stepping in horse shit. I was duly amused by people catcalling at us from apartment windoes and telling us to come up. A good time was had by all...except my feet. (Yay for Brendan giving us a ride home!)
Personally, I think it was the frilly bobby socks and the rosary necklace that made my costume.
Kerry's costume is so awesome - I totally had costume envy. The wand is actually one of my knitting needles with a homemade foil star attached, and the circlet is foil as well. We love you, foil!
The photo doesn't quite convey how freaking short the skirt was.
Now I've jsut got to try to figure out how to do my work costume. We didn't do much advanced planning this year (must be something in the air), so we're just doing The Matrix. I'm discovering I have very few articles of black clothing.
