Princess seams
After all the angst I had over putting princess seams on my old Rita Skeeter costume, I turned up some more images of the original recently and the damn thing DOES have princess seams. VINDICATED. The skirt is also longer than I'd thought. Oh well. Also found some good images of her second costume, the suede one; I'd thought it had some kind of reptile contrast but no, it's lace on top of the suede. It is smoking hot.
Also? These pics are high enough res for me to spot THIS. I dunno if I'd be this brave, were I to do Rita again.
ETA: Nah, it is reptile... somethin. Too bad, lace overlay would have been a lot easier than trying to find a close match for that kind of thing.
