More on baldrics
I could be wrong about the kind of "baldric" I want being associated with drum majors and color guards. I was at the National Memorial Day Parade yesterday (which seemed a whole lot less about memorials than about veterans, and I made a bad mistake in setting myself up opposite the reviewing stand because that was also the headquarters for the perky female anchor from News Channel 8 to do combination announcing and repeated sponsor thanking) and not one of the approximately 4,982 high school marching band/color guard/dance troupe combinations in the parade sported anything close to this kind of thing. I think it's just some kind of made-up quasi-military construct but you'd think I'd be able to find something.
