I think jackets are my least favorite things in the world to make. I still have a fitting issue in the upper chest, which I was able to partially fix by cutting the back neckline wider, but I'm at the "screw it" stage where I may just throw caution to the winds and proceed from here, cause procrastinating is just going to mean I'm trying to do bound buttonholes the night before the con, and even I know that's not a good idea. Surely the feathers will help cover it, and maybe the shoulder pads will help draw it up as well. All the alterations I had to make through the upper chest has also made the armholes too small, but I should be able to just trim them down where necessary and just cross my fingers that I can make the sleeves work. I let out the darts I previously took in the back, as things were getting overfitted back there. In any case, I expect to be starting work with actual fabric tomorrow... mostly cause if I don't, that is tantamount to giving up, and after I made that nice skirt too.

Also it turns out the Bulwark CLB7 women's coveralls are a custom order, so I had to order a 42 Short in the men's CLB6 and hope it works. I'm really not so much on the ball for D*C costumes this year, am I? At least I got my zombie dress.

Meanwhile, I got my eyebrows done. I feel pretty.
