Beautiful weather!

Another beautiful, sunny, good-temperature day today here in New York City! The sun is shining outside my window! My wonderful flowering tree has lost almost all its blossoms - pretty much a month to the day from when it started to flower - but I'm used to that! Anisa was dropped off near my supermarket and we did a little shopping together then walked home and sat outside on the front stoop (the Bronx, NYC) for a bit! When we got upstairs I plied her with various different foods over the course of the evening and she watched many of "her shows" that I've recorded on dvr for her while I was on the computer.
This morning we went out to the library early because it was supposed to open at 10am. However, the time is currently noon so we ended up just doing some walking and I got her a stuffed tiger and we took the bus home.
She was picked up at around 11:45am and that was pretty much "enough" for both of us, I believe! 67 years old and 6 years old are a difficult mix, at least with me being a bit of a fatty and not too comfortable with activities in the park - I worry what might happen to her and how ill-equipped I am to jump to her rescue on the monkey bars or other climbing equipment, should she get into trouble! And I dread her falling....
So, we make do with less active pursuits which don't really accommodate her very active physicality!
But I think we enjoyed each other's company anyway!
