(no subject)
Its been a while.
Things have been a little bittersweet lately, a few cool things mixed in with some rather shitty things. I'm struggling along. I've been staying at Dave's house the last week (and a bit) because I don't like going home (its a long story, and I can't be bothered explaining). I woke up last Sunday covered head to toe in hives from an anxiety attack. I'm going through an ultra-clutz mode, where I have dislocated my left wrist, rolled my left ankle (twice in the space of 10 minutes, thankyou very much), been bitten by something thats made my right knee swell (all in the last 24 hours), and to top it off, Im covered in some very attractive bruises (made somewhat earlier). A guy at Hydrotherapy wants me to meet his mother.... He also tells me that we are "friends" (I kid you not, he made the finger quotation marks when he said it). I dont feel too comfortable about that... I didn't do anything to encourage him! (...actually, squeamish sounds like a good word). O, and Dick Smith gipped me with the laptop thing. I waited an entire month before they decided they weren't going to sell me the damn thing. On the other hand, I have scored a kick-ass Community Development Placement (with equally exciting project) through a friend of mine, I coughed up an extra $200 (it made my hip-pocket hurt) for another laptop (TOSHIBAAAAA!= I've nicknamed it Yoshi) which is all speccy and not excruciatingly slow like my POS desktop, and, um.... I'm trying to get Varekai tickets at 15% (my friend knows a guy who works for Cirque Du Soliel)- its something to be excited about, but it hasnt happened yet.... Im a little apprehensive, really, as I want them for the Friday matinee.
