University of Michigan
I have been offered an opportunity to work at the University of Michigan, Department of Internal Medicine of the Medical School, as the Development Coordinator in the Major Gifts department. I am starting the job on Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2007, and I will finish my current job at the American Cancer Society on Friday, August 31, 2007. My salary is also a 27% increase from my current job.
As the Development Coordinator for the Major Gifts department, I will be scheduling the meetings, tours, and events for the Major Gifts staff and the high donors (these donors will give anywhere between $100,000 and $5 million). I will also be managing the third-party high donor events and managing the marketing materials for the Major Gifts department.
