Hi Emily,

I apologize I haven't followed up with you. We have been getting the new
office set up and things are crazy. I did in fact fill the event coordinator
position, however, I really did like you. If it is ok, I would like to keep
your resume on file for consideration in the near future. In the next few

Don't despair. Something similiar happened to me when I was interviewing for a job. They practically said the same thing. They kept their word and a couple weeks later they called me for another interview for a different job there and I ended up getting the job. And, it turned out the original job I applied for really sucked and the job I got was ten times better. I am sure you will end up with a more ideal job. Don't give up hope.

Thanks Dan. I feel a lot better now, see next post. If you had to get another job, I would go back to Best Buy...maybe they can give you back your old job! Good luck in finding new jobs...it's really tough out there. Just whatever you do, don't work at Meijer. You'll hate it even for the first hour that you're there for.
