Starcraft 2 Beta!
Huzzah, I'm in! Alas, my skill at SC1 has NOT translated to being even remotely decent at SC2. ^.^;;
After following the news about the beta online for a few months, watching all the videos, reading the articles, etc...I actually got into the beta, through the pre-order deal at amazon. After resolving a few different computer issues, with my graphics card overheating (not that I'm issue -free- now, but), I've finally gotten to spend a bit of time playing.
I'm playing Zerg, but of course. For the glory of the Eternal Swarm!
I'm past the 'What the hell do I DO with all these new things!?' stage.
I'm solidly in the 'HOW do I respond to that?' stage.
So far, I've repeatedly been running over when my opponent reaches air units (early zerg anti-air is, uhm, non-existant) and I've lost a couple of times to Terran turtling. Very much a 'How do I break the turtling?' O.o o.O feeling. Soooo many losses. But it's fun :)
I wish that the times I lagged out and dropped, or crashed, didn't count towards my win/loss ratio. ^.^;; It makes it even worse than I legitimately am.
Anywho: Cracklings....Gooooooo! Bwa-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha. ^.^ *ahem*
