What's your favorite thing about your relationship with your hubby? How did you two meet?
My favorite thing about my relationship with my hubby is probably the fact that we are basically best friends. I got asked before what it was like to be in a gay relationship and that was my answer. It's like dating your best friend. We have many similar interest and many dislikes, and he loves me for who I am and doesn't ask me to change. I feed off of him to do better with my life, and I wouldn't have it any other way. We have known each other for 6 years, when we first met it was a lot of awkward silence and school girl stares and giggles. He worked next to the store I was working at in State College, PA. and his best friend was my manager. So one night we all (everyone I worked with at the time, and him) went out to watch a movie and eat taco bell. We would do this as a group until I got promoted and worked at a different store. Than he and I would just go see a movie and eat. Again it was a ton of awkward silence and smiles. I was in a relationship at the time, which ended pretty messy and he was right by my side through everything that was happening in my life. I have always been in relationships with older guys (older by 7+ years), and for some reason this just seems a lot better and easier. He is a year and a half older.
