Qingdao
Second trip to China in 2023 was less than a month after the previous one. The main motivation was a workshop "Frontiers in Nanophotonics and Optoelectronics 2023" organized by Qingdao Innovation Centre of Harbin Engineering University. Thanks to Andrey Bogdanov for the invitation.

The campus is located far from the city centre, however we did walk through the historical center and modern parts of the city center (see above). A special album is dedicated to the Tsingtao Brewery (its factory and museum in the center), which originated under the German control in 1903 and is now the largest and most famous brewery in China.

The campus itself is located near Jiaonan Dazhu Mountain, which we visited for a few-hours hike with magnificent views.
