I can´t tell, since I haven´t met you (yet), but from what I´ve read I reckon you´re very hard to label *g* (are you really introverted?)

Yup, I think I'm rather introverted though as I've got older I've tried to be more outgoing but when under stress I easily revert back to type.

I tried Jung and it said ISTJ (very expressed introvert, slightly expressed sensing personality, distinctively expressed thinking personality, very expressed judging personality) or inspector guardian. Even worse :p

How strange - I've done this test before and I remember getting INFJ, but this time I get INFP (though the strength of preference for P is weaker than the others, only 22%). Maybe I've changed! And yes, INFP does sound more appealing. Judging doesn't sound as nice as perceiving to me!

Yep, guess the results change according to one´s changing ways of handling things, but I don´t think it´s easy for somebody to change THAT fundamentally within a short span from J to P as to get a wholly different character appraisal O.O

Tee hee, I always understood J as "mind up one´s navel" (put politely) and P as being more attuned to other people´s moods and expectations, but perhaps I´ve got that wrong, too.

You *are* caring to a very great degree (substitute "responsible" for "caring", if you prefer), and certainly artistic, and you always come up with rational, balanced and sensible ways of dealing with difficult people and situations, and don´t let them get you up the wall, so in that sense I´d say you´re very calm (or collected - again, as you prefer!). But those qualities are deliberate, he he.

I think you might be reading too much into the English words that are here used as terms of art. 'Introverted' and 'extroverted' in this case don't refer to whether you're friendly or like being with people or not; they refer to where you get your energy. I test strongly 'introverted'--while I love spending time with my friends and going out to street fairs and wandering around in crowds, I find it exhausting, and desperately need time by myself afterward to get my energy back. It was an amazing revelation to me to discover that in fact most people are the opposite--they find being alone exhausting, and 'relax and unwind' by spending time with others. 'Intuitive' in this case refers to being more comfortable with the 'big picture' than with focusing on details. 'Thinking' doesn't mean you're Mr. Spock; it means you're more likely to think 'that makes sense' rather than 'that feels right'--to make decisions you appeal to thought and logic rather than whether something will make you (or someone else) feel good. Hmm, okay, in that very precise sense yes, I´m definitely "introverted" (although, does seeking the company of books, paintings and works of art made by other people rather than people themselves to "recharge one´s batteries" still qualify as introversion, if one looks for solutions, teachings, ideas, beauty and emotions in them, all of which are positively human traits? ;))

"Big picture vs details" - that´s a good point! I never thought of intuition that way, as a sort of meta-understanding. And yes, something that "makes sense" reassures me (and automatically "feels right" too, funnily.) As for planner vs artist = 100% right! Belt & suspenders (& garter & clasp) type, all right. I´m a walking checklist, not just for myself but for nearly everyone else in the family and half the colleagues :p

I agree completely, and the fact that most people who replied after doing the test but either weren´t satisfied, or came up with different results at different times, only adds to the fascination :)
