Updates.
So last week had its ups and downs, getting to see some friends for the first time in a while and also getting burgled. The weekend in particular rocked out, getting to spend some time with some properly awesome people on Saturday (you all know exactly who you are), and on Sunday hitting the Nexus for a bit and then wandering to the campus to actually climb around on things in a knuckle-dragging, oafish version of parkour. Something I want to do more of in the future.
I'm actually voluntarily taking long work shifts for a bit, both to help stave off that dreaded M-word that's haunted me for two solid years now and also to make a bit of extra scratch I can use to keep the car in good, not just passable, working order. The Day of the Turkey is coming soon and will bring a few days of rest plus time with people, which I look forward to quite a bit. I might even get some proper cleaning done, which the Roost here could use.
Have to remember to talk to Calendar Man that day.
