Summary: UHH It's really hard not to make this sound corny. Probably because it is. The members of DBSK are a group of vampire hunters. But one by one, Jaejoong - Yunho - Yoochun - and Junsu have been turned into vampires. That leaves... !!!
Genre: ... Not meant to be taken incredibly seriously. But it's not crack either. IDK...

It's the middle of the night, but in a room of five beds - only one is occupied. That's no longer exactly abnormal, though.
Precisely two months ago, Junsu got hurt while he was trying to protect a young girl. He would have died if Yunho wasn't around to give him some of his own blood, thus turning him into the fourth vampire of their family. Leaving Changmin as the single human of the bunch. In other words, the only one who really still sleeps at night - since he does, afterall, have an ability to go out in the daytime.
Currently, there's a dim light from the hall, but no sounds or indications that anyone might be home aside from...
"Min-ah.." Jaejoong stands next to Changmin's bed, gently shaking him by the shoulder.
Sleepily, Changmin mumbles at him. "It's nighttime, hyung."
"Get up. We need to talk." Jaejoong takes a seat on the bed next to Changmin, poking him in the cheek.
After a short moment, Changmin starts to turn on his side, "yeah.."
"Min-ah~" Jaejoong grabs Changmin by the shoulder, pushing him onto his back again, and so finally Changmin's eyes squint up at him. "Hyung?"
As soon as the word escapes his lips, Jaejoong attacks him with a soft, brief kiss.
"AHH!!!!" Changmin's arm is fast in between the two of their mouths, "What are you doing!?"
Jaejoong laughs silently as he sits up, "Waking you up."
"Why are you waking me up?" Changmin whines, rubbing at his eyes.
"I already said so," Jaejoong answers patiently, "We need to talk."
Changmin moves his hands out of his now much wider eyes, staring annoyed at Jaejoong, who remains unfazed.
"What do we need to talk about?"
"Short walk first." Jaejoong replies as he stands up, holding his hand out to Changmin expectantly. "Leadershi is waiting."
Changmin doesn't take his hand at first, rather, he sits up - blinking at his hyung. "Why is he waiting?" he asks, without realizing what a stupid question it is until Jaejoong answers "Because it only takes one of us to wake you up.. ?"
Then Jaejoong beckons Changmin with his hand, saying "Come on."
Changmin takes the hand with one hand, using the other to rub at his still tired eyes some more. "Why are you waking me up for this.. ?" he asks again, as if it matters. Even if the answer is 'for fun', he's already awake now.
"Seemed like a good time." is Jaejoong's actual response, and he quickly drags Changmin from the bedroom. Changmin is quiet, convinced that he won't get any actual answers until he sees Yunho.
Not that it's more then a few steps before Jaejoong shoves Changmin into the living room, making him momentarily dizzy enough to not notice Yunho until he speaks.
"I said be gentle."
"What? That's not gentle?" Jaejoong sounds absolutely innocent, lingering in the doorway behind Changmin.
Changmin, impatient but trying to use a respectful tone, asks "Yunho hyung, what is this all about?"
"Sorry for waking you up, but.. It's kind of important, Min. Why don't you sit down?" is Yunho's unsatisfying answer, as he gestures to the loveseat he stands next to.
Frowning, Changmin shuffles over to him and takes the seat, doing his best to overcome the building impatience. "Where's Yoochun hyung and Junsu hyung?"
Yunho sits next to Changmin, putting a hand on his leg, "They're out right now. Vampire time, you know?"
Changmin cringes to think of what the actual time is. He does have to be at work tomorrow. "It's human.. sleep time you know.." and Changmin shakes his head slightly at his own mumbling, trying yet again to rub at his eyes as if getting the sleep out of them can wake up his brain.
"I know, I know." Yunho doesn't look at Changmin, nor does he look at Jaejoong who is having a seat in a chair across from them. He stares ahead of himself, moving his hand from Changmin's leg to touch at his elbow - feeling down his forearm until he finds his hand. Somehow, and maybe it's just that Changmin's tired, Leadershi seems nervous.
"We were thinking though," he continues "maybe vampire time would suit you better."
Changmin takes a moment, tenses up, then shakes his head. "I'll sleep on it."
"Doesn't that defeat the purpose? Sleeping on it?" Jaejoong questions.
"Basically.. there's no way I wanna be a vampire, and I'd like to go back to sleep if that's okay." Changmin bluntly explains, then catches Yunho grinning in the corner of his eye.
"Well I know you have your reasons there, Minnie, but that's not exactly what I meant." Yunho says, amused.
Jaejoong elaborates further for him. "We mean changing your schedule. Quit your job and work with us full time." he snickers, "Making the world a better place and all that." Jaejoong never has had the strongest sense of justice. If it wasn't for the rest of the guys, he might even be pure evil.
Changmin absorbs the meaning of what Yunho and Jaejoong are saying, but ".. I still want to go to sleep."
"You're not going to sleep." Yunho says.
"If you fall asleep, I'll bite you." Jaejoong adds.
"If you fall asleep, I'll let him bite you.."
And the two of them smile together.
Making Changmin cringe. "That's not funny... I'm tired."
"Let's wake you up then," Jaejoong gets up, stretching, and Yunho lets go of Changmin's hand and scoots away. Safety gone. Yunho warns Jaejoong "Gentle." and Jaejoong responds, "Absolutely." just before he grabs Changmin by his shirt, jerks him from the couch, and tosses him easily onto the floor.
That's all it takes, Changmin won't complain any more. In surrender, his arms go out in defense and he yells "I'm awake! Knock it off!"
Jaejoong drops, his knees on either side of Changmin's waist, and he grabs his arms - holding them out of the way. His voice is deep and somewhat of a sigh as he asks, "Am I making you nervous, Changmin~?"
"I'm awake already!" Changmin ignores Jaejoong's question, doesn't try to struggle, he just calls out for the one in control. "Yunho-hyung~!"
Jaejoong releases one of Changmin's arms, lightly smacking him with the back of his hand. "You're trying to tell on me?"
"You're not being gentle, get off!" Changmin says frustrated, looking towards Yunho. He's watching, but his expression is like he's lost in another world. Changmin feels betrayed.
"I am being gentle." Jaejoong says, calling Min's attention back to him. Somehow, he seems more serious. Or maybe it's Changmin's imagination.
"That's the problem with being human. You're too fragile." Jaejoong says, smacking Changmin on his other cheek.
Those words really get to the younger. It's not exactly easy to feel suddenly a world away from the only family you have. Something like a pet rather then a brother.
"Jaejoong, stop." Yunho says, finally coming to the rescue of their youngest.
Changmin looks up at Jaejoong, tired and sorry and just wanting out. "I'm up and.. I'll do the world better.. stuff... Can I have a shower?"
Jaejoong looks over to Yunho as if asking.
"Yes. For God's sake, Jae, let him take a shower." Yunho says, voice soft.
Both of them get up, Jaejoong stepping away and Yunho stepping closer. Jaejoong is in his seat again by the time Yunho's hand is held out for Changmin's. "Then I have a little bit more to talk about, okay?"
Changmin takes his hand and pulls himself up, nodding. "Yeah," as soon as he's steady on his feet, he releases the leader's hand. "We'll talk..."
With a worried and exhausted expression, Changmin slumps out of the room, the dread of further conversation sure to taint his breakfast.
