Summary: UHH It's really hard not to make this sound corny. Probably because it is. The members of DBSK are a group of vampire hunters. But one by one, Jaejoong - Yunho - Yoochun - and Junsu have been turned into vampires. That leaves... !!!
Genre: ... Not meant to be taken incredibly seriously. But it's not crack either. IDK...

CHAPTER NOTE: Warning! This chapter gets a little angsty. Boooo angst!

Jaejoong and Yunho sit together on Yunho‘s bed, speaking in hushed voices.
“We can’t decide for him, he has to make the decision on his own.”
“Or be dying? Then you would decide for him?” Jaejoong questions.
“Stop it.” Yunho quickly says.
“You weren’t dying.” Jaejoong comments.
Giving Jaejoong an angry look, Yunho responds “I’m aware.”
“Don’t be like that.”
Yunho sighs, “Let's give it some time. See what he thinks of living this way for a while before we bring it up again. “
“Don't forget--”
“I won't forget. Try not to make such an ass of yourself this time.”
“Please.” Jaejoong remains nonchalant, “Like I didn't notice your hard on.”
After a shameful pause, Yunho asks “You don't think he noticed, do you?”
Before Jaejoong can answer, there’s a knock on the door and shortly after - it’s pushed open. Changmin looks to be in a much better mood after having spoke with Junsu. Still, he takes a breath before stepping inside of the bedroom. “Okay, let’s talk.”
Jaejoong looks amused at Changmin. Yunho looks.. well, scary. Hungry. He shakes it off fairly quickly but still appears serious, if a bit shameful. He points to the bed across from his, telling Changmin to “Sit.”
“Close the door first.” Jaejoong quickly adds and Changmin does, just before taking the seat on the bed that Yunho addressed, looking at them both with an expectant expression.
“We’re worried about you.” Yunho says.
Slowly, Changmin nods.. thoughtful. “Because.. I’m fragile?” as he questions, he glances to Jaejoong, but it’s still Yunho who answers. “Very fragile.”
Jaejoong just nods in agreement, before Yunho continues..
“And it’s not only other vampires that you’re at risk from. It’s us too, but we really want you to stay, Changmin.”
Blinking, Changmin shakes his head “You think I’m that fragile, but you woke me up in the middle of the night so I can help you fight vampires?”
Yunho is immediately sidetracked from what he was about to say, blinking back at Changmin - “Who said you would be fighting vampires?”
“You didn’t wake me up in the middle of the night so I could help you recycle..” Changmin frowns, tilting his head.
Yunho responds, “You can help us fight vampires without actually fighting. You’re good at the other stuff, Min. The research stuff, the computer stuff. You’re smart like that.”
Confused and annoyed, Changmin questions “.. That.. I have to do that at night?”
“We miss you...” is Yunho’s semi-pathetic response.
Changmin shakes his head again, dismissing his annoyance at being woke up. “Nevermind.. all that.” He sulks, looking down, thinking back on Yunho’s words. “You guys haven’t hurt me yet, even though you’ve had the opportunity..”
“No, we haven’t but.. it’s hard on everybody, and lately you’ve been--” Yunho frowns, trying to think of a good way to put this. “Well, you’re growing up and you’re starting to get..”
“Hot?” Jaejoong offers with a grin.
“More-- full of-- blood.” Yunho glares at Jaejoong. “Would you not help?”
Jaejoong just snickers, not bothered by the glare.
Changmin, however, isn’t amused. He keeps his eyes downcast, having a kind of “I’m about to explode” aura as he says “I don’t want to make things hard for any of you..” before biting his lip.
Yunho looks back to Changmin, biting his own lip, silent for a moment.
...
“Yunho wants to make you his consort.” Jaejoong breaks the silence. Yunho glares at him again. Disregarding the look, Jaejoong continues calmly “You get to stay human with your own personal vampire bodyguard, and the rest of us vampires aren’t gonna be as tempted by his sloppy seconds. The only downfall would be that whole eternally binding blood commitment thing.”
“Shut up, or I’ll throw you out the fucking window.” Yunho hisses.
“Ahh~ I’m scared.” Jaejoong responds with a smirk.
Changmin is deep in thought, remembering what a consort is. A human which receives a vampire’s mark, which generally wards off other vampires. Like a “Stay off my property” sign. In return for that mark though, that human does generally have to feed the vampire here and there. It’s not for Changmin, the idea of it. It’s not an issue of pain. It’s just an issue of belonging to Yunho.
Belonging to, rather then being equal to.
Putting his hands on his knees, Changmin twitches, quietly saying “I can’t.. do that.”
Looking hurt, Yunho questions “Why can’t you?”
“I have to leave..”
Yunho shakes his head quickly at that, “Is it because you’re scared? I’ll be nice as pie, I promise.”
“No..” After a moment, Changmin lifts his hands, dropping his head down into them. “I don’t fit in.”
Yunho stands. “You do fit in. We’ve just been out of sync for a while.” He steps closer, kneeling down in front of him, pulling his hands away from his face. “We’ve been together forever, Min, and we love you. You know that, right? We haven’t changed that much. I’m still me, Yoochun still likes playing piano, Junsu still likes video games, and Jaejoong still likes himself.” Yunho offers a bittersweet smile, hoping to cheer him up a little.
Changmin doesn’t seem cheered up. He closes his eyes, not wanting to cry. “I just want to be normal.”
Yunho frowns, heartbroken. A good time for Jaejoong to step in. He gets up only to take a seat on the bed beside Changmin. “We’ve never been normal, Changmin, and none of us ever will be. All we have is each other. Family, remember? Trust me, being without it hurts.”
And Jaejoong would know. There was a time, when he became the first vampire of them all, that he tried it out.
Even so, Changmin responds “I’m sorry, I can’t do it.” and he keeps his eyes shut tight, but it only succeeds in squeezing tears out. “I can’t hang out here and become an old chewtoy. I don’t want to be a vampire either..”
“Old chewtoy?” Yunho sighs, reaching up to wipe his tears away. “You really think I’d do that to you?”
Changmin opens his eyes to look at him, “What would I be living for, hyung?”
“For us. For you, or all the people we can help. If you ever wanted to settle down with a girl and have a family or something, I wouldn’t stop you, Minnie, you know I wouldn’t.” Yunho urges..
“I can’t bring any girls here.”
“Why not, huh? They might think it’s cool.” Yunho puts on a small smile, “We won’t be newbies at this forever. Give us some time and we’ll all be perfectly human-safe. We’ve been doing good with you, right?”
“... I just need to think.” Changmin says.
Yunho tries not to seem too offended, “Of course you need to think. Take your time thinking.”
Jaejoong puts his arm around Changmin, patting him on the shoulder. “Do you want a tissue?”
Changmin shakes his head, then nods it, then shakes it again. “I just need to be alone.”
Jaejoong nods, standing up again. “Let’s go.”
Yunho nods at Jaejoong, standing as well, but looking back down at Changmin. “Really.. Take your time, okay?”
Changmin doesn’t say anything, he just wipes at his face, and Jaejoong takes Yunho’s hand, leading him out without another word.
He’s sorry that he just might have hurt Yunho’s feelings... but the fact is that Yunho and Jaejoong just confirmed his fears. He’s causing them trouble by staying here, and that means something has to change. Whether that’s becoming a vampire, becoming a consort, or leaving everything he has.

If you were confused by that opening talk between Jaejoong and Yunho.. it's only because I was too. XD That's pretty much exactly what my RP partner wrote.
This one... too angsty, too angsty... so I just rushed through it. And it's not beta-read too. OH DEAR. This could be the whole thing's downfall...
... The next chapter has some fluff. Waaant it?
