So I finally got out of class and now I'm just chilling out at home before I start on some of my homework. So I mentioned before that I was not sure if my ITE teacher uses Windows or Mac. Well, it turns out that whatever suspicions that I have not written down were actually kind of correct. It turns out that my teacher used to be a programmer for Windows and that he absolutely hates using Macs ever since something happened that "apparently" caused him to hate using Macs. However, he stated that he doesn't mind using them at the same time. Now I probably didn't hear that correctly or I'm probably just slow or something because that really does not sound right to me.
To clear up some stuff about what I have said about me using Windows and Macs. I use my Mac for almost everything when it comes to websurfing or doing work/school stuff. However, I do not use it for gaming purposes because emulators like ZSNES and VisualBoyAdvance seem to lag really badly on it. This is pretty much the only reason as to why I still use my Dell laptop, for gaming purposes. I also use my Dell laptop for Photoshop purposes, but that will kind of change once my sister puts Photoshop on my Mac.
What other school stuff has been happening so far since I started today? Well, it rained pretty much the entire time I was on campus. Reminds me of my grade school days. I'm pretty sure some people remember those days whenever the first day of school rolls around and for some reason, the weather seems to go from bright and sunny to depressing and rainy.
I also got some free pizza, chips, and soda today as well. I have no idea what made them decide to give out free pizza. All I noticed about it was that there were signs posted around some of the buildings saying, "Free pizza in the student lounge area of the Virginia Beach Building!"
Obviously I would never turn down an offer for pizza unless I was either feeling sick or full. So thinking that it would zap me out of zombie mode, I decided to make my way toward the Virginia Beach building to get some pizza. It was satisfying to say the least and I had to constantly fight the temptation of getting a second slice due to the fact that there were about 50 unopened boxes of pizza and so many chips and drinks to pass around. I would probably have to say that my insecurity caused me to give up on getting a second slice. Yes, my insecurity. The little voice in my head constantly kept telling me to stay away from the pizza line because people would obviously think that I was a fat, greedy person. Also, I think everyone is limited to only one slice of pizza anyway.
To make this semi-long post even longer, I decided to dedicate my "studying" time between classes to beating Final Fantasy IV on my PSP and I finally did. What made me mad about it was that the reason why I kind of took a break from it was because I was trying to level up all of my characters to like about level 75 - 80. The stupid thing was that when I fought the final boss, I ended up dying because I apparently wasn't paying attention. So after taking said break, I start up the game again, level up a little bit, and attempt to beat the final boss. This time around, I succeeded and it took me about a WHOLE minute to beat the boss rather than the five to ten minutes that I expected. I guess I freaked out about the whole entire boss battle being hard for no apparent reason at all cause evidently, that boss pose no challenge to me anymore.
So yeah, that's all I'm going to say right now. Morning classes aren't as bad as I thought they were. They are actually a lot better than I expected because I have Friday free for relaxation! Wootwoot!
