Well, I have to say that Nekocon was definitely worth it this year. I'm feeling pretty sore from walking all over the place and playing DDR in the game room, but I still had a good time!
There were a lot of stuff to do over there despite the fact that I was only able to go there for only one day. My sister and I got to learn some Japanese at one of the panels and we got to watch Totoro while during the lecture. It was pretty cool and stuff. There were a lot of games in the dealer room and a whole crapload of manga and plushies. I didn't have any interest in the manga or plushies at the moment because I was focusing more on the games and stuff. However, I did get a cool Trigun T-shirt over there.
Artist alley was pretty cool. They had a lot of good artwork and I ended up getting a cool Vulpix painting. It's hanging on my wall right now, but I will go ahead and
post the picture of it in a link right here! Anyways, we also met all of our friends outside of Artist's Alley after lunch (and by serious coincidence as well). After checking out Artist's Alley some more, we went back to the game room to play some DDR and it turns out that we all tried to play in a DDR tournament. But unfortunately, the pads kept on dying every five minutes and the guy had to keep on fixing the pads.
My sister and I played Pop n' Music for a while and I seriously destroyed her at Pop n' Music. Also, we decided to check out the Anime Free For All tournament, but we didn't stay long because I wanted to try on the Trigun T-shirt that I bought.
Anyways, we went home at like around 6:00 and surprisingly, there was no traffic.
That's my day at Nekocon. My friend messaged me on AIM like around 10:30 and said that she was still at the con, so hopefully she had a good time as well. Anyways, that's all I want to say. Later! :)
