Grr...
I got a phone call last night that had me in tears for at least thirty minutes after. More angry tears than sad.
Becky called at 10pm to say that the company wanted us to cut 70 hours from our already cut schedule. To help the rest of the district/company out.
My room is in the black. We've been in the black for the last 3 quarters. We're 2k up on the quarter. We're going to blow it out of the water this week. And yet we're cutting hours to help the rest of the district out??
You know, I'm all about trying to take care of each other, but when I did the math, I'll have lost 40 hours over our five weeks in December. I appreciate what the company does for me, but I'm pretty sure that what comes out to be a week unpaid kinda voids any raise you gave me this year.
