drunks are taking over.....
so, let see......ive been working at this bar for almost a year (9 months to be more exact) and i have seen more fights, conflicts, approaches, attempts, and drunks here more than anywhere else in my life.i see everything, and experience most of it as well. and its all so real, the things people do when they drink. i'll start a tab with one table, theyre so uptight at first, i really believe that they regret sitting in my section. after a few drinks, they love me....'im the best server theyve EVER had'. and people grow huge balls. i cant believe the things they say, mostly men, when they drink. do all guys think, when theyre drinking, that theyre at strip clubs? if theyre smooth enough, u might just go home with them? tips are a big issue...if they tip u good, its almost like they expect something from u....a date, a number...something. get real guys, were here for one thing and one thing only. not bc we love serving u, were greedy just like everyone else, we want ur money. to any server who disagrees.....fuck off, u know its true. dont get me wrong, i enjoy my job, and my customers...and i'll put up with this shit for as long as i have to. but i know im not gonna be doing this for the rest of my life. i dont go to work hoping to meet guys....even before i met jason. i go to work wondering how much money im going to bring home. i guess im a greedy bitch, but its income...and its my life. im not a bad person, but after so many ass slaps/grabs i tend to stereotype all men in one category. i wish someone would videotape me when i got trashed just so i could see what i was like, how i act, what i say, what i do. i know i grow balls when i drink....but do i use them? if i do, then how? im curious. one guy, every time he comes in....gets WASTED, im talking real f'in wasted....and starts screaming how hes gonna "burn the bitch down". another guy comes in, gets trashed and and acts like a stripper out on the dance floor. nasty btw. a guy literally pulled me aside tonight, talking all drunk..."i was wondering" he paused for a few seconds..."i was wondering" yet again, he paused..."i was wondering, what a girl like you....was doing here with a guy like me" what? what does that mean exactly? was he trying to be smooth? cuz it wasnt. just goes to show how drunks are idiots. thought of the night.....drunken words are sober thoughts. do with it what u want.
