Confused....
I wrote on another post that I had gone to McKinley on Thursday to check my eyes and was confused. Usually a nurse calls you and takes you to a room where she asks you a series of questions, takes your blood pressure and other stuff like that. This nurse, in her line of questions, asked me when was my last period. I told her I was on my period, so she then proceeded to ask me when was the first day. After my response she then asks me "Is there any chance of pregnancy?".....
Me - (WHA....did I just told you I'm in my period?) No
She then continued with the other stuff she needed to do while my mind raced - could you be pregnant and have your period?? Well, I learned in high school that you cannot but they lied about so many things that who knows...I remember a gynecologist told me once you could get pregnant during your period because women could ovulate during this time...Could I be pregnant?? Dammit, the rest of the afternoon I was confused and searched for answers once I was back again in front of a computer.
Then Hiroshi told me that she once answered 'maybe' to that question and the nurse told her that it had to be yes or no....WHA??...They should just saw the actual question...'are you having sex?'
