I actually write a lot of fiction so I would most likely pick one of those to make a movie about. I would definitely NOT be using CGI for special FX, because I feel that is so overused and boring nowadays.
Also I've had in mind making a movie about angels using the visual styles of old classic artists, like the paintings of Michaelangelo and so forth. That would make for a terrific eye candy film.
