Fabulous weekend at the Faire, my lack-of-Irishman notwithstanding. The festival community welcomed the band back with open arms, cast and patrons and independent performers alike. Sunday night we played Pub Sing, and got such a warm introduction from the emcee, I thought my heart would burst. Then the crowd roared their appreciation, and

Which Cirque DVD?

Regarding the polka dots, you may want to be sure that they aren't too dark or if you ever want to repaint the walls they will be challenging to cover. Are you going to have the pair of you sign your work with a set of handprints in a corner?

Three walls are medium purple, one is slightly darker. The polka dots will be in the darker shade on two of the lighter walls. Nothing insane that primer won't cover. I didn't want the colors to be so contrasting the room was completely unrestful.

Oh, and it's Allegria. Very whimsical, pretty costumes, many characters in white face. A contortionist with hula hoops and the strong man are her favorites. Not a fan of the clowns, their bits are a little over her head. (I love them to death, though.)
