Bees (always yikes!-worthy), good news and the usual game-related news

Jan 29, 2009 14:45

A couple of days ago, we went to a little town nearby that we visit often and we saw the most curious thing:

A beehive had split and the queen (or new queen) had taken off and decided to make a temporary home out of a car parked on a parking lot.
The car was filled with bees and there were a bunch flying around keeping an eye on the place; the town was also busy with bees going up and down the street, no doubt, looking more a more suitable place to make a permanent home.
So we parked somewhere else (I wanted to leave, but I didn't want to look like a chicken, so I didn't say anything) and stayed away from the parking lot.
I wonder what that poor car owner did when his work day ended, poor fella!.

Two months of going to bed at 12, now, I can't believe it!, I still really miss the all-nighters, but life seems so much orderly now, I don't think I want to go back to crashing at 5 in the morning, any longer.

OH, OH! and I was forgetting, silly me!:

My oldest nephew (and only nephew, the rest are all girls) is going to be a dad!!, wheeeee!.
I learned the news from his wife through Facebook (they are in Paraguay) and it made me soo happy, I love that dear boy so much... bah, I'm getting misty eyed all over again.
So yeah, Grand Aunt Mavilu FTW!

Did I mention that I love my iPod?, I dooo!.

And I'm thinking I'm about to finish First Departure (but I don't want to, because what I have left to play is a little Wall-e PSP game my hubby gave me for my b-day, which is simply atrocious, but I don't want to tell him that and I don't want to play it, either. D:
So, I took FFO's Zophar's advice and went back to reading my books, and I'm still reading Master and Commander and I love Jack Aubrey (a capital fellow), but for whatever reason I'm forever semi-lost reading that book, I just can't quite get it, even though by now, I remember all the characters, the places and I'm starting to remember a few of the naval terms, even.
Oh well.
I'm about to finish Persona 4 as well (I think), which is good news in my case, because I still have Mirror's Edge waiting untouched for me and because yesterday I bought Lost Odyssey.

So, that's it.
Ta-ta!~
