SL tidbits
Some random thoughts about and encounters in SL...
1. I had a very vivid dream the other night that Torley Linden was talking to me, and saying I would be banned for public sex in SL. I was really relieved to wake up and find that it wasn't real.
2. Overbuilding... what's up with that? I was wandering around a build today that's not only huge, but really amateurish-- the rooms are all enormous boxes with 15 foot ceilings. I know that building is intoxicating, but so few SL builders realize the power of coziness. How many nice restaurants or stores do you know in real life that could be fairly described as "cavernous barns"?
3. Said barn attracts a lot of Europeans. I overheard a strange conversation today: a multilingual bondage session, in Spanish and English. The domme didn't know English; one of her subs didn't know Spanish; the other had to translate (and didn't always do so well). That must be a bizarre relationship. They were all pretty new to SL, too, and had bad hair. And the domme evidently thought that the key to topping is being an imperious bitch...
