wedding outfits
So... I'm having issues deciding whether to try and sew something or just buy something.
Unfortunately my tastes run rather expensive (could be worse, but still looking at the $700-$2000 range).
I want something that isn't -incredibly- formal. I want to avoid taffeta and huge billowing skirts. It might be cold in May so I'll probably need some kind of overcoat since I want a corset top. I'm also going for a 1870s Victorian/steampunk theme.
So this is what I've found so far, please feel free to give me your opinion! And/or let me know if you know a site/designer that's similar!

Kathleen Crowley custom (see website or etsy for ideas of what she does. this would be the $1600-$2000 item. The pic is a reproduction of Crowley's style by a very talented young woman who sewed her own stuff):
