ICON FOR IRONY.
Apparently stories of my cooking failures are endlessly amusing to everyone on IRC. I even have an auto-greet pertaining to them. (quote from me: 'it's okay, i know how to boil water now.') Thus the fact that there is a list on my fridge maintained by the people in the apartment who can cook without things catching fire of which appliances my sister and I, the eternal horrible cooks, cannot touch was also terribly amusing.
For the record: the only things I am currently allowed to touch in the kitchen that use electricity are the fridge and freezer, the kettle if I have supervision. My sister is inexplicably banned from the freezer and grill and totally explicably banned from the microwave. (Explicably is now a word.) I am pretty sure I am toaster-permabanned, and if I cut myself cutting a bagel open one more time I am going to nominate myself to be banned from the knives.
I would starve if I lived alone, swear to god.
In other news! Apparently WPP is putting out more Axess episodes now. I did not know this! Glad I have torrenting on this comp now.
