Yes it is true. I am a huge dork.
I have no idea what possessed me to start RPing on LJ again here and this is probably the nerdiest thing I've ever done but DAMN if this doesn't look like it's gonna be fun.
That being said I don't think an Enzan will do badly as a trainer. How much different is it from Netbattles? You control more 'navis' and you need to memorize attacks instead of using battlechips. Simple.
ALSO. This is how my day went:
1) Get dragged out of bed to go get tree.
2) Bundle into car with four other people, three of whom are excited about getting a huge tree and the other one of whom is driving.
3) Car hits bird. (This sucked for all of us, but it was a really stupid bird to be flying so low on a road so natural selection I guess.)
4) Arrive at tree place. Go to cut tree. Nearly fall into half-frozen creek on the way to back lot where good trees are.
5) Waffle with four other people to try and not get tree that is too obscenely tall. Three on two, girls vs. boys, guess who wins.
6) Cut down tree and haul it back to car. Tie tree onto roof of car. Drive home.
7) Think about twenty times tree has fallen off even when it hasn't.
8) Stop to buy apple cider and hot chocolate at Safeway.
9) Haul tree into elevator. Go up stairs. Haul tree out of elevator and into apartment. (Like fuck am I getting in an elevator with a tree.)
10) Get decorations out of storage. Make popcorn and hot drinks while everyone else decorates tree.
11) Curse the pagans who originally brought trees in for the holidays, then the early Christians for stealing the tradition, then modern society for commercializing a secular holiday.
12) Realize there are pine needles everywhere.
So yeah. Nrrrrr trees.
