Something different

Just like it says really. Nothing to complain about. Well, nothing of importance.

So yeah, I changed my desktop, my OS skin, glared at winamp for having sucky colors to match, cleaned out my various folders, and did some organizing. And glared yet again at my RO folder because the stupid server I'm on doesn't appear to utilize the .INI. Why is it every time I learn a trick something has to go and screw it up?

But yeah, now my desktop matches the color theme for here. Apparently dark blue, silver, and black are slowly becoming my soul colors. Blue's always been, silver came next, and now it's black. Night sky, anyone?

And it doesn't end there for apparently my music of choice has a celestial feel to it. Don't ask me to describe it more than that--I can't! T_T

Aaannnd...I've been tempted to draw things of a similar nature. I've been saying I'd get started, but I dunno. This is the sort of thing that if I started, it would be serious art. It would have to be, or I wouldn't be satisfied.

Such as Kaya Moonshade. Who really needs a better last name, but hell I come up with her when I was 12 or so. Dark elf sort, has since evolved more into a dark goddess type with silver hair, dark skin, bluish violet eyes, and black wings with a glossy sheen.

So yeah, there's those colors again. And sure, I try to get away from them, but it does me no good. Apparently they are here to stay.

Also, I dunno. I've other more serious things I'd want to do, but Kaya seems like a safe zone. If I attempted to draw anything else, I'd be worried my dark mood might taint it. And if it is already dark, then I'd likely be absorbed into it. And I can't stand being in such a dark mood.

It always makes me so introverted...as if all I wish to do is retreat to the inner sanctum and be left alone under the starlit sky. If only the inner sanctum was always so peaceful. So many shades there and whispers in the wind.

*sigh*

Change runs rampant these days. The truth that was once hidden now bursts through and floods into everything. I don't like it. Yet I cannot bring myself to look away, as if the very act of doing so would dry the waters and leave nothing but a wasteland in their wake. So...I continue to stand at the torrent's edge, fighting the current, knowing if I don't I will be swept under. But, eventually it will uproot me, one way or another.

Death by stagnation or death by anarchy. What a choice... At least chaos promises rebirth, but at what cost?

Yup...

Welcome yet again to my insanity. The sweet poetic opium that threatens to wisk you away to the land of stars and shadows. I would offer you depature, but I cannot seem to remember which side of the looking glass we fell.
