It is amazing how much less time I have to read now that I have a full time job and an active life, so let's just look at the stats for what I did

I actually acquired more books than I read in 2014. I added 94 books to my collection (including Christmas gifts) and spent about $280 on books. That's an average of about $3 a book
Of the 25 Books, 7 were written by male authors, 16 were written by female authors, 1 was a mixed collaboration, and 1 was an anthology
I read 15 different authors and of those 8 were female and 7 were male
The most read author this year is a tie between Mary Robinette Kowal & Michelle Sagara (West) at 4 each, with Gail Carriger coming in a close third at 3
