Another Day
Seems that a lot of old friends seem to be looking me up lately. I guess that's a good thing, to leave impressions on people that are lasting. Well, as long as they're good ones anyway.
Today was a lazy day, and a good one too. Jess and I played some Assault and rampage for most of the afternoon before she cooked dinner. Mmmm, Budweiser Chicken and homeade fries...nothing is more manly. =) Had a quick meeting tonight at the store for about an hour in which the manager outlined all of his expectations for the associates. Arnold's a good guy and all, so it's cool. He's a real perfectionist if I ever met one. Ritz is a good gig, and I think I'll be with the company all throughout my school too. I work with a group of great people, and it's really the best retail situation I've been in for a long time.
In other news, Jess mentioned something about Jeff (her dad) celebrating my B-day this weekend instead of next weekend, so apparently he's got a little something special planned. If it's what I think it is, I'll be in for a good trip....=P
Nothing else major happening today or at this point. Oh yeah-looks like that Kiosk gig Jason was telling me about might go through sooner thatn I thought. Apparently the problem person they have there is about to get canned, due to "lack of proffesional curteousy". Hmmm. Oh well, another's failure is my chance to succeed I suppose. We'll see what happens.
