I just did my cable swatch and it was CRAP. Not that I found it difficult, I think I just didn't pull the stitches tight enough. I also mysteriously increased. It was interesting. I shall frog and retry tomorrow.

We hit 100 today. Just thought you ought to know that.

Have fun in Vegas! Hope it's not too hot there.

Aww! I knit mine with super chunky yarn, so didn't really have that problem. At least it was smtg simple like that though. You'll get it next time.

OMG. I can't believe it's that hot over there! That is amazing. It's going to be hot there. High 90s-100s.

*cries* I did mine with super chunky (snuggle yarn) too and still had that problem. I am doomed! Seriously, I'll try again tonight. I'm sure it will be better. Maybe I was just having a bad yarn day.

Yes, it is. It sucks. Apparently the fish in the lakes and rivers have started to die because the water is now too hot for them. I went for a walk this morning and was drenched with sweat by the time I got back. It is horrid. If it doesn't rain/cool off tomorrow evening as promised, I may rampage and kill the weather guy.

Aw, badly timed zits suck, eh? I say hold your head up high, have a great time (like you wouldn't...psht!) and pretend that you painted it on that morning, on purpose. And at any rate, isn't that what photoshop is for? -grin-
