knitting schtuff
I was working on diminishing my yarn stash as I had lots of randomness. I succeeded to where I don't have any spare yarn that isn't already destined for a specific project. And last night I just ordered nineteen more balls of yarn. *facepalm* Four of them are for knee-high striped socks. Eight of them are for a baby blanket. Five of them are for a hat (yes, I realize I won't use *all* of it for the hat...but it's fair isle! I'm hoping there will be enough extra to make some mittens!). One is an extra for my cardigan, just in case. And one is because I took my last spare ball of yarn and started knitting up a baby cardigan (ZOMG SO CUTE!) and needed two balls, but only had one.
So you see, it hardly counts as 'stash' when there are definite projects for each of these yarns. Best news is all of that only cost me $41 shipped. I ♥ Knit Picks.
