Lumos and cramps
Random spammy post for the evening.
I keep seeing all of these Lumos-related polls pop up, so of course, I go to them and take them. I am secretly thrilled to see some names I recognize on them that are going (mainly fic writers I've read and enjoyed). However, it's all a bit daunting. I am mostly going for the Immy meet-ups (ZOMGWTFBBQSQUEEE!!!11!!), but of course I'm excited to see panels and discussions and, well, everything. BUT, I am SO scared of the fandom. Seriously. I do not really want to meet LJ people as they mostly frighten me. Immeritans? Pffft. Y'all don't scare me. Maybe because we get to know each other better. *shrugs* I'm glad not everyone is a crasher.
I feel that I am a fandom wuss. People are HARDCORE, man and my piddly little contribution to fandom is nothing. Like, to me, everyone else is a BNF. So, if you are reading this, and you see a girl trembling in the corner in fear of TEH FANDOM at Lumos, that'll be me. Hee. Oh, and this SO doesn't count fanbrats. I pwn fanbrats.
ETA: My mom and dad are coming over at 11:00am tomorrow. TOOOOOOO early. *SIGH*

And because rockin16 and myself have mutual cramp ickiness at the mo', we were wondering if, like in RL when lots of women live in close proximity and their cycles become synched, it happens on teh interweb also. *shrugs* I'm in pain people. Humor me. (and before anyone comments as such, YES I realize it is probable that I'll be on my period when Jim comes home. *LE SIGH*)
