It's done, kiddos. I finally sucked it up and finished it. I've only been promising it to half of you for over six months now. For the record, I am hyperventilating right now.

Ooh, this was very exciting. I really liked the idea that in defying Voldemort Regulus was acting for himself, rather than just doing as he'd been told, for the first time.

Thank you! ♥ I may end up remixing this at some point, as I have very different opinions on Reggie now than when I originally wrote this. It has also been suggested to do some of the backstories. This one might never go away even though it was a huge relief to finally complete it.

I haven't ever imagined it quite this way, but this enjoyable. You wrote it rather well. I loved how there was so little fuss and how almost casual it was once Lucius and co came to kill him. I'm wondering if his mother ended up seeing though. Eh. Karma's a bitch if she did. Anywho, terrific, really. Kudos. ^_^

My first thought was, Sweet. Like, Reg realizing that he didn't want to be a DE anymore was sweet. Not the first word you normally think of with a character death story, but...
And yeah, probably not how it happened in JKR's universe, but certainly a very real parallel one.
Bellatrix the braggart was pretty funny. ;D

Thank you :) This fic was a fucking bugger and I'm still not 100% thrilled with the final result, but meh. It got completed. Like I mentioned in the other comments (I think) I will probably end up remixing/rewriting it again at some point. Reg haunts me.
