It's not so much that I don't like lava, but rather that lava generally doesn't like me.

LAVA IS A GENERALLY UNFRIENDLY SUBSTANCE.

As I've noted on more than one occasion.

Why the casting call?

Lava Insurance and why it's a Stupid Business Venture.

Well, based on the premise that lava isn't generally of a cordial nature, wouldn't that actually be a wise Pacific Rim investment?

NO ONE WANTS TO WORK WITH LAVA.

True enough. But it being a very literal force of nature, some people don't really have a choice. Which is where the insurance comes in, I suppose.

(Mind, it is still rather ridiculous. I just enjoy arguing the point.)

Wait, wouldn't lava insurance technically be like flood or fire insurance? So wouldn't it be insurance for your possessions if lava suddenly destroyed them?

So couldn't it be a potentially good business venture? Granted, the ash and what not from a volcano usually do damage before the lava hits, but an insurance that encompasses all damages property could get from a volcano eruption could work.
