Lookie here. It's 3am and I can't sleep. This hasn't happened in some time, especially with this degree of causelessness. By all accounts, I should be pretty exhausted after a full days work, a decent workout, and furniture assembly.
I barely ate dinner, which is catching up to me now. I'm sortof craving Mexican food. Precisely: rolled tacos from Coti, enchilada, and tostada. Maybe a tamale, too.
I weighed myself for the first time in a while and since the China trip, I have gained 15 pounds. Which is a smaller number than I had imagined, but still staggering. While I'm glad I haven't gained back any more, I'm a little disgruntled at having slid all the way back to my lazy weight for little more reason than being busy. Eventually this will catch up to me. I am contemplating getting bloodwork to really scare me into another health crazed phase.
Has anyone else been hit by one of these retainer fees from their doctor?
I picked up Patapon and ground it out for about two weeks. It was just a fun game that was contagiously and narcotically cheery. I'm through with it just in time for Wild Arms XF, but I think I may put time into finishing Jean d'Arc first. It's sortof depressing to have dumped all this money into consoles only to dump so much time into handhelds. Now that the X360 title base is broadening beyond FPS and 3PS, it's gotten fun. I really want to play Culdecept Saga, in part because doorman Dwayne is playing it, but I just remember getting so hooked into Culdecept that it might not be such a hot idea. Still, can you imagine that Bladestorm has the most playtime on my 360? Not for long, since I started up Dynasty Warriors Gundam. Which is actually not that great in a great way.
I've yet to watch the final episodes of The Wire. In watching the first five episodes of this last season, I felt a continued departure from the closing of Season 3. Season 4 was alright, but when I saw Omar vanish out of the window, I kind of snapped the branch mentally. I sort of feel that it is okay to give it up, but if anything deserves the chance, it's The Wire. Though, I'll probably have to rewatch seasons 1-3 to rinse out the taste. Dominic West is leading a splinter of the cast pushing for a Movie. But if anything, I'd want a prequel. Rise of the Barksdales.
I went through and cataloged how far behind I am on Fansubs, and I hadn't realized that I was approaching a full 4-four-seasons-in-a-year behind. I'd ask for recommendations, but who're we kidding here. I'm not gonna agree with them in the end.
Okay, getting yawny now. A B Cya
