Is all of ohio like this?

I met this short wily old man in Canton, OH, on Tuesday. He was admiring Dave's new truck and asked what he named it.

Dave: "I haven't named it. You name your cars?"
old man: "Yeah, I name all my cars! But they all have the same name."
Dave: "What's that?"
old man: "Shasta"
Me: "Shasta? Where'd you come up with that?"
old man: "Shasta have gas. Shasta have oil. Shasta have a tune-up.."

Later in the conversation he asks Dave what kind of mileage the truck gets. Dave replies, "Oh about 20." The old man says, "Yeah, my car gets 20. 12 on the highway, 8 in the city. That's 20 right?"

Yesterday, joehead calls me and I told him the story about what I learned in Ohio.

So joehead goes to share his story from last week.

His mom and his grandma were gettin their nails done at a salon. A young woman walks up to his mom and says, "Did you used to be a teacher?" His mom replies, "No, I may look smart, but I'm not really that smart." To which the girl replied, "OH! You must be joehead's mom!"

(The story really happened, but it happened a little differently, but I like my annotated version better).
