Ian's doing great. Military life agrees with him, it seems. Still the same old Ian, though... half of his time here, we spent watching anime series. Like, at least two seasons of four different anime, three seasons of another, and one season each of another four. It was pretty kick-ass, and it turns out Hastings has been filling out their anime selection while he's been gone (very probably due to him having pestered them about stuff before he left).
He eats a lot more than he did, but he hauled me (and anybody else who happened to be around) along with to eat with. So I got in my asian food fix, too, during the past couple weeks. Hell, it'd been almost six months, since I'd had really good Chinese. Since before Ursula left.
I'm doing pretty well. It's lonely. I don't get out much. But then, that's alright, really. There's nowhere to go and I don't have any spare money to spend there even if I went. It'd be nice to be able to do things like going to Springpatch, but at least Jen heads down here every few weekends. Half the time I've been doing repair work on her computer. Lately, we've been keeping each other sane. Myself for obvious reasons, but her mom had a brain tumor. There'll be more about that above, as it deserves its own post.
As far as school goes, I'm still making upward of 96%, though I'm not positive exactly where upward of it. Probably right around the 98% mark. Which is good. There's an award if I manage to finish out this section with a 98% or higher. And the section doesn't last that much longer.
Drop me your number in an email. It's the same as it's always been, same as here. I'll give you a call and we can work out logistics for New Years'.
Anna on Tom's computer says: you can crash here if you need/want to. We should have our extra bed set up by then. Actually, the goal is Christmas, but we'll see.
