i took the damn job. it would have been one thing to be offered it on the phone, after time to think... but when people offer you a job right away it is hard to say "no" to their face.

so i start tomorrow...
i really liked Nadhira. she was like the cutest girl. i would say about half the people there are muslim and wear the head scarf and the other half are young graduates or interns. i don't have to wear a head scarf or anything.
in other news: i have sick raffle luck. i won a ticket to the barrister's ball which is like law school prom basically. $50 a ticket. my friends are going and wanted me to go so bad they offered to buy me a ticket but i couldn't let them do that. so i said we can let fate decide... pshhh fate. so of course everyone has entered the stupid raffle and i win.
it's not even surprising anymore. i have won an ipod, a signed book, and now a $50 ticket to unlimited drinks and food.
my classmates were all like "god dammit maura. it's just not fair... you should go to vegas."
so i guess it's been a good day. i mean i got the job and the ticket. woot. now i have to go to the job and the ball.
i wish drona were here to come with. cue sad music :(
what i REALLY want is my interview next week to go well. (and you all should too ... ha ha...) because if i get that job i am DEFINITELY taking it and then i will be in Milwaukee for the summer!!! the best time to be in brew city.
AAAAAAND i will be making BANK. (like $28,000 for the summer... well-- minus taxes...)
