Ahh....Cancer Sucks
So Yo,
Kelly has skin cancer again. Actually I don't think it ever went away. So we already lost a house to this disease. Now I'm obviously facing the possible loss of my wife. We've been going to buffalo and will continue going to buffalo for treatments for her. She spends a week in the hospital while I spend a week visiting her and sitting around w/ my thumb up my ass. If the treatments work.... then i'll miss up to 10 full weeks of work over the course of the next year. That's best case scenerio. If the treatment doesn't work then we're screwed all the hell.
On a lighter note...I got a cool game for PS2 and anyone out there reading this, I highly recommend this one. It's called mercenaries, and it's like GTA meets War in Korea. You get to hijack cars,tanks, and helicopters, kill the North Koreans, and choose sides between the Allied forces, South Korea, China, and The russian Mob. Be careful though. At certain points in the game you need each faction to like you atleast a little.
Work is good. 'Cepting the part about my dumb schedule where I work mornings, days, evenings, and nights all in the same pay period.
G.R.R.Martin...Mayhaps the Greatest Sci-Fi/Fantasy I've had the pleasure of reading has another book in the Song of Fire and Ice coming out in November. Wahoo.
