(no subject)
it was SORTA my first mother's day this year. i actually had the day off from work!! ryan and i slept in for the first time in so long!! it was really nice. ryan felt the baby kick for the first time mother's day morning. how cute is that? then he took me out to breakfast. after that we came home and got ready to go visit our families. we went to grandma judy's first since she made a huge dinner that i had no idea she was having until she called and told us to come. she made cheesecake for me mmmmmmm!!!! everyone talked about the baby, they're all excited to find out what we're having! then we left there and went to my grandma dot's for a little bit. she fed us brownies!! mmm. hehe, im such a pig. my uncle and cousin were just leaving when we got there and it was getting late so we didnt stay very long. then we went to ryan's mother's house. her new house is so cute!!! she showed us around and ryan's brother dan came to visit too. we were there until after 10 and it was really nice. his mom got me this adorable little snowsuit for the baby and some bath and body works stuff. it was very nice of her. she and i talked about her coming into the delivery room when i have the baby and she really wants to do it!! i was actually surprised when she told me!! i like that she wants to be part of this. she is going to be the only grandmother and i think it will be nice to have her and ryan there. she also gave me a beautiful rocking chair but we arent going to to pick it up until we move. it was nice to spend time with her! i think the baby is really making ryan and his mom a lot closer. it's nice to have a "mom" in my life. i think now that she knows we really do plan on getting married she feels a lot better about the situation. it was really a very nice day. :)
i go tuesday to find out what we're having. ryan took the day off and my sister is going to come too!!! we're so excited! i think im driving him crazy being so impatient but i really cant wait. after my appointment we might go to the zoo that day too since neither of us have been in so long. i love spending our days off together!!!
hopefully we'll hear back soon on when we can close on our house. i dont want to have to move in the middle of the summer. im going to be huge by then too.
the baby is kicking like crazy lately...it's such a weird feeling. it's amazing. my tummy is getting so big and i can feel him or her so much now. it really is the most amazing thing that has ever happened to me.
the kitty wants me to snuggle her now. shes so cute!
