who cooks normally? - Luna. Draco’s not quite of the ‘woman make me a sandwich’ line, but after a Malfoy upbringing with House Elves, he’s a little rubbish at cooking, himself. how often do they fight? - Frequently, but about silly things. Hogwarts House wars. The TV channel. Luna isn't one to hold a grudge and Draco appreciates how the past is rarely brought up. what do they do when they’re away from each other? Draco mopes. When she’s away, it’s on Quibbler business, so Luna is typically up to all manner of wonderful things and it doesn’t occur to her that Draco wouldn’t be. More likely he spends his time, I’d say in politics, cutting through the red tape to surpass his family name, and is too busy to be lonely. The reunions are nice, though. nicknames for each other? Draco sometimes slips up and calls Luna ‘Lovegood’, which she doesn’t mind so much, but he does twitch a little when she brings out her latest string of gushy, cavity-inducing nicknames, some muggle-born, by way of retaliation. who is more likely to pay for dinner? Draco. He’s turning into a bit of a gentleman after his trial by fire and besides, his family is the one that has the money, despite anything. However I reckon that Luna wears the pants, and if she asked to pay/split the bill he’d agree, if feel a little emasculated. who steals the covers at night? Luna. In case of any household menaces (bogwarts, crumple-horned snorlacks etc). Draco is just as guilty of stealing it back sometimes just because it was stolen in the first place. They eventually come to a compromise, usually before 4am. what would they get each other for gifts? Luna’s gift would be fantastic, wonderful, strange, and utterly useless; something she’d bring back from a business trip or a Quibbler interview, and the mantelpiece/bookshelf/every available cover is covered in them. Draco makes out about how much he hates them every time and couldn’t she spend their money elsewhere, but he secretly wouldn’t get rid of them for the world. For his part he tends to buy small but expensive gifts, say of jewellery or diamonds or antiques, not exactly frequently but to make up for any major arguments/upsets they have. He is also the one most likely to remember their anniversary. who kissed who first? Luna kissed Draco, while still in Hogwarts. At the end of the Battle she thought he looked like he needed it, but it wasn’t for another couple of years that he ever got to confront her about it. who made the first move? When they finally got together it was Draco, demanding to know what the hell Luna had been thinking when she kissed him before. By the end of their shouting match he had given her a time and date for a cup of coffee, over which he could ‘apologise for [his] crass behaviour’. who remembers things? Draco remembers important things like dentist appointments, meetings, anniversaries, the like. Luna remembers exact details like the date they kissed (granted being the Battle of Hogwarts they both know that one), the time of day when Draco proposed, and what colour the sky was last Tuesday. Draco scoffs but it’s very endearing. who started the relationship?: Draco asked Luna out, but Luna was always pulling exactly the right strings. who cusses more? Draco. Hands down. Luna tends towards things like ‘oh fiddlesticks’ rather than ‘Merlin’s y-fronts’, or oddly, for Draco, muggle swearing. what would they do if the other one was hurt? Draco would be terribly emotional and probably feel that, no matter what happened, it was his fault. He would pull any connection he can to get the finest health care and protection, both on the spot and during recovery. Luna would be a voice of reason, if a very upset one, and would find a healer on the spot, and quickly, but would also try to badger him into strange medicines and treatments once he’s on the road to recovery.
