Chronicles Epilogue

We went back to L.A. after the tour, all of us living together in the same apartment. Michael and I still lived on the same flat. Ned couldn’t do anything to stop us. Malex existed, at least, to some fans. Others had absolutely no idea, and for now, it would stay that way.
As for Michael and I? Well, we were going strong, having fun, and just being the cutest little couple you’ve ever seen.

Michael ran over to me, giggled, and sat down beside me on the dock. “What the heck are you doing out here, Lex?” he asked.
We were on vacation. All of us had pitched in and rented a vacation house right beside a lake. The lake was so pretty, and I was sitting on the edge of the wooden dock.
I smiled. “Just writing in my notebook.”
Michael tried to see what I was writing. “What’cha writing about?”
I laughed and closed my notebook. “None of your business! I don’t go around reading YOUR notebook!”
Michael gave me a weird look. “Yes you do.”
I wrapped my arms around him and pulled him closer. “That was one time!” I grinned. I kissed the top of his head. “And it was for a good cause.”
Michael nodded. “It definitely was. I love you, Alex.”
“I love you too,” I mumbled into his hair.
Suddenly, Michael jumped up. “Now try to catch me, you lazy bum!”
“Lazy bum!” I gasped. I stood up too and started chasing after him, leaving my notebook behind. “Come back here! I’m gonna get you, Michael!”

And so ends the first chronicle of Malex.
