(no subject)
Happy Vets day to those who've served. I have lots of vets in my fammily, not dr type, military type. They are all west coast kids so I can't see them and give them hugs, but I sent out thank you cards to them last week, so they all know I remember and care. I wish that we could figure out a way to totally remove war from our world, to spread understanding and get rid of hatred, but it aint gonna happen anytime soon, so I'm blessed for those who have taken to arms and fought for my freedom where I could not. Thanks Guys/Girls, we are nothing but blessed for your endevers.
Other news, things around here are quiet, I like that, no crazies but me to deal with. ;) The kids are hitting another growth spurt, I can't keep up, they are doing this so much lately! *arg* LM is now 4 inches taller than I am, Bitz is only 3 shorter. By the time the holiday hits I will be knee deep in clothing debt because there will be nothing left in the closets that will fit them and I will spend a small fortune replacing things! Thank the Powers that I am not still growing, could you imagine what Those bills would be like? What would I end up paying for an outfit to fit a 10 foot tall woman? *eeeps* Just the thought scares me!!! (i can only figure that is how tall i would be considering the older you get the slower the body works and all, and i Am Old!)
