grad school drama
So. SanDiego sent me an email on the 3rd saying that they hadn't recieved ANY of my reference letters OR my GRE scores. It was bullshit, since everything was sent a while back and they only just then decided to tell me they didn't have them. The application due date was Dec. 15th. So on the 4th I get another email saying that they received one of the reference letters. The email says that everything must be in by the 7th (last friday) to even be considered. So Friday I tried to get ahold of my other two reference writers, and only got answering machines. I left requests and fax numbers. I also faxed my GRE scores. They got the scores, but my other reference writers probably aren't even in their offices at this time of year. San Diego WROTE that the 7th was the absolute last day to get anything, and yet I received another email today about it, including a repeat of the deadline that was last friday. I don't know what I'm supposed to do. I'm emailing the instructors now.
