skiing for the first time
And at Heavenly Resort in Tahoe. What was my brother thinking? So he knows how to ski, but what about me? The bunny slopes there are warm up trails for all the pros that go there. Come on they had the olympics there in the sixties. I didn't last my first day for more than a couple of hours. I couldn't figure how to get up. My poor little arms couldn't hack it without me dropping my skis and watching them slide down the mountain.
Good thing we went to Sierra the next day. That's a good spot for beginners. Once I made it down without falling, I started keeping track of how many runs I could do without stopping or falling. It ended up to be 6 times! I was sooo excited. Unfortunately, I was just warming up until we had to go. Can't wait to go back. Maybe in the early spring when there's no blizzard.
Oh i forgot to mention my mom let my brothers and I use her time share. It was fucking sweet. Just like a two bedroom apartment with an indoor jacuzzi bath. You bet i took advantage of that. I needed some major dethawing. My hair froze for chrissake.
